3 things you can do this week to improve the backend of your business

My goal as a virtual assistant is to make the life of my clients easier. I have found that the small things add up over time and that often the extra work up front to get organized pays off.

When you are an entrepreneur doing everything on your own, the priority is the money making tasks - finding clients and doing the client work. There isn't a lot of extra time to spend organizing and creating systems in your business. But I want you to consider how much extra time you might be spending on certain tasks because you don't have the right systems in place to support you.

Here are a few places you can get started building systems so you are spending less time on the day-to-day tasks and so you feel organized and prepared as you grow and scale your business.

1 | Automate your to do list in a project management tool

When you create to do lists in a project management tool like Clickup, Trello, or Monday, you are able to set due dates on tasks and set them to reoccurring so you don't have to rewrite your to do list every day/week/month/etc. You can add that task to your list, set it to reoccur and then you're done. This leads to less time spent on creating to do lists AND less of a chance that things get missed or fall through the cracks.

2 | Create templates for whatever you do over and over

Are you always creating new carousel posts for IG or IG story backgrounds - create templates that match your brand that you can reuse with new content.

Are you sending the same email each month to various clients - make a template so you don't have to rewrite it each time. Take it one step further and ✨ automate those recurring emails ✨ in a CRM platform like Honeybook or Dubsado.

3 | Hire a virtual assistant
